This is following a step-by-step presentation of the painting of a farm with some clumps of cows out front.
The purpose of the project is to learn how to show clumps of things without really detailing each object in the clump.
I’ve gotten as far as doing a colour study in my sketchbook. I’m not sure what else I’ll tackle.

Many macOS users will likely recognize the source for this painting as one or the background images provided in the recent past. Every time it would pop onto my background or go by in a screen saver, I’d just give a sigh and stare at it.
Jokingly naming the painting “Ellie Font” for no typographical reason, just the way my brain works.

It’s been ages since I’ve done any “real” art. I put a new sketchpad and my bag of pencils out on the dining table. Tonight I did take advantage and drew a pencil sketch of a pug (I think!).
